
It was our 3rd anniversary on August 6th, so we decided to treat ourselves to a fancy dinnerโsomething we hadnโt done in a while. With a toddler at home, date nights are rare since finding a babysitter isnโt easy. Thatโs why this night out felt extra special.

The restaurant itself is stunning. Upstairs has a more casual, bar-lounge feel with leather chairs, dark wood tables, and high ceilings. We were seated downstairs in a cozy corner booth overlooking the dining area, which felt much more like a classic steakhouse. The interior downstairs was gorgeous: black-and-wood accents, a wine-colored marble wall behind the fireplace, and an overall modern-classic vibe. To make the evening even more special, the restaurant surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Such a thoughtful touch!

We went all out with our dinner:
- Appetizers: chilled prawns, grilled mushrooms, Caesar salad, and smoked bone marrow
- Main: a massive 48-ounce Tomahawk steak (my first time trying one!)
- Sides & Drinks: crushed potatoes and two glasses of cabernet red wine
Everything was delicious, but the Caesar salad stood outโit was unlike any other weโve had before, topped with loads of cheese. No surprise there, since The Butcherโs Table is owned by Sugar Mountain, the same company behind Beecherโs Cheese. The prawns were tasty, though we wished they were a bit less cooked, but the avocado-wasabi sauce made up for it.

The Tomahawk steak, though, completely stole the show. It was enormous, perfectly cooked medium, juicy, tender, and flavorful. I especially loved it with chimichurri and yuzu kosho, but even a simple sprinkle of salt was divine. The smoked bone marrow was incredibly richโunlike anything Iโd ever had before.

To finish, the staff surprised us again with a complimentary dessert. After all that food, I was too full to try their famous bone marrow ice cream (next time!), so we chose a refreshing raspberry sorbet. It even came with a candle, which made the moment extra sweet.

Overall, the food was amazing, but what impressed us the most was the service. Our server was professional, attentive, and warm, striking the perfect balance throughout the evening. Nothing felt rushed or overlookedโit really elevated the whole experience.
We left feeling so full and happy, and we canโt wait to come back with our family for another special occasion. The Butcherโs Table gave us exactly the kind of classic steakhouse experience we were looking forโand more. ๐ฅโจ
