Leo’s best friend at daycare, Sena, just became a big sister! We often have playdates together, so I wanted to give Sena’s mom something truly special — not the typical baby gift, but something thoughtful and personal.

리오의 데이케어 베스트프렌드, 세나가 여동생이 생겼어요. 같이 플레이데이트도 자주하고 그래서 친한 세나 엄마에게 뻔하지 않은 특별한 선물을 주고 싶더라구요. 그래서 이번에 LA에서 이것 저것 귀여운 걸 골라 기프트 박스를 만들었어요.

💗휴대용 사운드 머신 – 선물은 물론 상대가 필요한 걸 주는 것도 중요하니 세나 엄마가 말했던 사운드 머신도 골라봤구요. 아마존에서 살 수 있었어요. 리뷰가 제일 좋은 것으로 골랐어요.

🎀 Cotton on hair clips for Sena, so she doesn’t feel left out as the big sister.

Cotton On 아기 점프숫, 머리띠와 양말 셋트 & 헤어클립 – 귀여운 아가 옷과 양말, 머리띠 셋트 & 세나의 머리핀 – Cotton On에서 골랐어요. 너무 귀엽죠? 딸이 없는 저는 역시 이렇게 핑크색이 너무 예쁘더라구요. 첫째인 세나가 서운해 하지 않게 세나의 머리핀도 같이 골랐어요.

🎀 Bottega Louie’s chocolate bar and dessert — the same one I recommended in my recent LA post. Their packaging is so beautiful that it instantly makes any gift feel more luxurious.

보테가 루이 쵸콜렛 바 & 디저트 – 제가 지난 번 LA Posting에서 추천했던 Bottega Louie의 초콜렛 바와 디저트 같이 넣었어요. 박스가 너무 예쁘죠? 선물용으로 딱이에요.

cute notepads from Daiso in LA – Since Seattle doesn’t have many Daiso stores, I picked up a cute notepad from Daiso in LA and tucked it in for Sena’s little drawings. It’s the kind of adorable stationery that girls just love.

다이소 노트패드 – 시애틀은 다이소가 많지 않아서 LA에서 다이소에 들렀다가 산 귀여운 노트패드는 세나의 그림그리기용으로 넣어뒀어요. 여자 아이들이 좋아할 만한 귀여운 노트패드에요.

It’s nothing fancy, but once I put everything together, the box turned out so charming and heartfelt. ✨
There’s something so joyful about curating little gifts for someone — wondering, “Will she like this?” — and adding each item with love.

별 거 아니지만 이렇게 다양하게 귀여운 것들을 넣고나니 특별한 기프트 박스가 완성 되었네요. 이렇게 누군가를 위해 선물을 하는 건 참 즐거운 일이에요. 좋아할까? 생각하면서 이것 저것 넣는 재미가 아주 쏠쏠하지요.
