Just like that, it’s fall in Seattle! Summer left so abruptly without even saying goodbye. I can feel the crisp morning air and I’ve already started wearing cozy, soft sweaters and boots.

Whenever the season changes, I usually make a Pinterest mood board to save my favorite outfit ideas and build my own color palette—this is the fashion designer side of me. But honestly, it’s super helpful when shopping. Having your mood board and color palette keeps you focused on what you really want and need, instead of buying random things. It also helps build a cohesive wardrobe you’ll love.

Here’s my Fall 2025 mood board!

As a mom, I prefer classic and basic pieces that I can wear long-term and layer easily. I’m loving muted neutral tones this season: grey, cream, chocolate, tan, and muted khaki green.

But a wardrobe without a few accent colors can feel boring, so I like to add a fun pop—like warm baby pink or butter yellow. These tones mix well with muted neutrals without being too overwhelming.

For textures, I love:

• Butter-soft suede
• Wide wale vintage corduroys
• Raw indigo denim
• Silky scarves, satin shorts, or skirts

Sweaters are my ultimate fall/winter must-have. I adore chunky oversized sweaters with a soft hand feel—perfect for cozy, comfy vibes.

I’m all about oversized, loose fits for comfort, especially with a toddler in tow. But one day, I’d love to try a cozy sweater over a lace-insert satin skirt for a mix of comfy + chic.

My husband got me Hunter boots for my birthday, and I’m so excited to wear them this fall. Mine are the classic khaki green tall boots. I’ve added a few inspo outfits featuring Hunter boots on my mood board too!

Growing up in LA, I’m more of a summer girl, but I’ve really started to appreciate Seattle’s gorgeous fall. I’m not quite ready for all the rain yet, but picking outfits and creating this mood board makes the chilly weather exciting.
